Jameie’s Journal September 9, 2009.
Today was a very special day, I have visited Nosoko Elementary school. Seika and Himeka had presentations in their classrooms, parents and visitors were able to attend. I was not out on the boat, so i decided to go and observe. Both girls did very well with their speaches and it was nice to see their artwork on display. All the students are well crafty, i enjoyed looking at all the art. Items ranged from homemade whiteboards to windchimes to papermache and quite alot of paintings too. The School is quite small, and this makes it very tightknit. All the students were friendly and cordial.
Yesterday i was out on the boat with fundivers for customers. It was a nice and relaxing day, good diving and good people. The first and second dive we visited shallow hard coral gardens. Fairy Basslets were the highlight on both dives. The third dive was a deeper dive and Pyramid Butterfly fish were the star at that dive site. The weather was fine, partly cloudy with just a nip of wind. A bit wavy on the surface, but underwater was good visiblilty and no current.
Tomorrow we will go out on the boat with two ‘discover scuba’ students. It will be fun!!
